How to build a slatted fence with Beatson’s fencing
Before getting started, take some time to read our Garden Fence Law blog so you don’t accidentally knock down a fence that isn’t yours!

Measure the area. Ensure you do this accurately; this measurement will determine how many fence posts and slats you require.

Install your fence posts. If you are updating your fence posts or adding more in for extra stability.

Install the first slat. Ensure this piece is perfectly level, as this will be your guide for the rest of the fence slats. Once it's in place, add a spacer on top to position the next slat.

Add the rest of the fence slats. Repeat the process until your fence is complete!
