Marshalls Tegula Garden Walling brings the same rustic, cobbled character as the popular Tegula driveway range to garden boundaries, retaining walls, and raised beds. Made in Britain from durable reconstituted stone, it's finished in a warm Traditional colourway with a textured, tumbled look suited to period and modern properties. Available in three block sizes, from compact 220 x 100 x 65mm units up to larger 440 x 100 x 140mm blocks, so courses can be mixed for an authentic, hand-laid finish. Pair it with Drivesett Tegula coping stones and matching paving for a complete driveway-to-garden look.

Marshalls Drivesett® Tegula Walling.

A tidy driveway means nothing if the wall next to it looks like an afterthought. Drivesett Tegula Garden Walling was designed as the direct partner to Marshalls' Tegula block paving, so the boundary wall, the coping, and the drive all read as one job done properly, not three separate purchases bolted together.

It's reconstituted stone, made in Britain, with a textured, tumbled face that gives a rustic, hand-cut look rather than the flat uniformity of cheaper cast blocks. Whether it's a low garden wall, a raised bed, or a full retaining wall on a sloped Scottish plot, it's built to take the weather Central Scotland throws at it.

  • Colour: Traditional, a warm, weathered stone tone that works with sandstone, brick, or grey render.
  • Finish: Textured (tumbled face, not smooth-cast).
  • Sizes: Three single-size options, so courses can be blended for a more natural, less repetitive coursing pattern than a single uniform block gives you.
  • Coordinating range: Designed to be laid alongside Drivesett Tegula paving and finished off with Drivesett Coping Stones for a proper capped edge, not just a stack of blocks left open to the rain.
  • DIY note: If you're building the wall yourself, Marshalls publish a short installation video covering coursing, foundations, and mortar joints. Concrete walling installation guidelines are also available as a downloadable PDF for anyone quoting or specifying the job.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Tegula Walling made from, and will it match my driveway?
It's reconstituted stone, manufactured to coordinate directly with Marshalls' Drivesett Tegula block paving range. Laying the two together gives a matched, single-supplier finish from drive to boundary wall, rather than mismatched stone and block from two different ranges.

Can I build a Tegula garden wall myself, or do I need a bricklayer?
Marshalls provide a step-by-step installation video and downloadable concrete walling installation guidelines for anyone laying it as a DIY project. A confident, methodical DIYer with the right tools and a solid foundation course can lay it. Anything load-bearing, retaining a slope, or over about a metre in height is a job for a qualified bricklayer or your local Beatsons trade contact, since getting the footing and drainage wrong on a retaining wall is expensive to fix twice.

Do I need coping stones with Tegula Walling, or can I leave the top course exposed?
Marshalls specifically design Drivesett Coping Stones to finish this range. Leaving a wall uncapped lets water sit in the top course and speeds up frost damage over a Scottish winter, so coping isn't a cosmetic extra, it's what stops the wall degrading from the top down.
