General Shuttering Plywood at Beatsons this does not have strength performance data provided by the supplier and so should not be used in a structural application. 

PLEASE NOTE: Sheathing plywood is not suitable for finishing or structural applications.  It has low grade face veneers with knots and defects, and may have some voids within the core.

Shuttering Plywood is ideal for making formwork for concrete structures. Build your temporary structure then pour concrete, this creates a containment while the concrete sets. Please note image shown is 9mm plywood.

What is shuttering plywood?

Shuttering plywood is rough plywood used for concrete formwork. It'll handle wet concrete pressing against it, and generally not swell or delaminate under load.

Shuttering plywood is used to create temporary moulds for concrete to be poured. Walls, slabs, beams, columns. Anywhere you need to shape and don't want concrete oozing out.
