Brett Martin 315mm x 45° Double socket Branch

A Brett Martin double socket branch is a underground drainage fitting made from tough PVC-U (uPVC), designed to join a main drainage run to a branch line at a 45° angle. It has two sockets (one for the main pipe and one for the branch) that accept pipes of specified diameters, allowing a smooth directional change and branch connection with minimal flow disruption.

Key Features:

• Angle: 45° branch from main pipeline — used to split or divert flows gently (rather than a blunt tee) which helps maintain better hydraulic flow performance. FlipHTML5

• Double Socket Design: Both ends (main and branch) have sockets to accept pipes — enabling easier jointing and secure connections.

• Material: Durable PVC-U/uPVC, robust for underground sewer and drainage use.

• Colour: Terracotta (standard for underground drainage fittings).

• Standards: Typically manufactured to comply with BS EN 1401-1 (British/European standard for PVC-U sewer pipe systems), though you should verify the actual part’s certification for adoptable sewer use.

• Application: Ideal for use in gravity drainage systems (sewers, surface water, site drainage) where a branch off a larger main line at 45 degrees is required.

• Size: 315mm main diameter  - Available branch diameter 110mm, 160mm, 200mm, 250mm, 315mm
• Angle: 45° branch connection
• Type: Double Socket (D/S) branch fitting
• Model/Code: B31160
• Application: Designed for use in drainage, sewer, or stormwater pipe systems, allowing a smooth 45° connection from the main line to a branch line.
• Material: [Specify material, e.g., PVC, HDPE, etc., if known]
• Features: Reliable, easy to install, and suitable for standard piping systems requiring a branch at a 45° angle.
