Beatsons 15x10mm Solder Ring Reducing Coupler

A 15x10mm Solder Ring Reducing Coupler is a type of plumbing fitting used to connect two pipes of different diameters—specifically, a 15mm pipe and a 10mm pipe. It is designed with a solder ring inside the coupler, which melts when heated, forming a strong, leak-proof joint between the pipes.

Here’s a breakdown of its features:

1. Size: The coupler has a 15mm diameter on one side and a 10mm diameter on the other, allowing for a smooth transition between pipes of different sizes.

2. Solder Ring: Inside the coupler is a ring of solder that melts during the soldering process. The heat causes the solder to flow into the joint, providing a secure, water-tight seal.

3. Material: Typically made from copper, ensuring durability and resistance to corrosion in water or heating systems.

4. Application: Ideal for use in domestic and commercial plumbing systems, especially where a connection between different pipe sizes is required, such as in central heating installations, water supply lines, and other plumbing applications.

5. Ease of Use: The solder ring simplifies the soldering process, as the user doesn't need to apply flux separately to the joint—just heat the fitting, and the solder ring does the rest.
