Application / Installation
Sprinkle the powder, at a mixing ratio of 2 parts powder to 1 parts water, into a suitable clean mixing container containing clean, cold tap water. Allow to soak for 1-2 minutes before gently mixing by hand. Mechanical mix with care - do not over mix.
Apply in dabs to substrate or plasterboard; 50mm to 75mm wide and approximately 250mm long, positioned vertically at approximately 300mm centres (approximately 50mm apart), and of a minimum of 25mm thickness to provide a substantial bond when the plasterboard is positioned and tapped back into true alignment. Dabs should be applied horizontally between vertical rows, at floor and ceiling line to support the plasterboard ends and to form a continuous band to stop air leakage. Product workable for up to 90 minutes. Do not apply in ambient temperatures less than 5°C.
