Key Specifications

Features & Benefits

• Modern Aesthetic: Designed for "slatted" fencing styles that offer privacy while allowing light and air to pass through.

• Superior Finish: The R4A machining ensures the slats are smooth to the touch, reducing the risk of splinters and making them easy to paint or stain if desired.

• Weather Resistance: The green pressure treatment protects against fungal decay, insect attack, and rot for years, even in the unpredictable British climate.

• Versatility: Beyond fencing, these are perfect for building pergolas, bin stores, or decorative wall cladding.

  Usage Tips

  • Spacing: For a classic Venetian look, use a 10mm to 15mm gap between slats.

  • Fixings: Always use stainless steel or high-quality galvanized screws. The chemicals in pressure-treated wood can corrode standard steel, which leads to "bleeding" (black streaks) on the wood.

  • End Grain: If you cut the slats to length, remember to apply an end-grain preservative to maintain the integrity of the treatment.
