Beatsons CLS Treated - 4.8m

Build with confidence using our high-quality CLS (Canadian Lumber Standard) timber. Specifically designed for internal structural use, our CLS is the go-to choice for framing, partitioning, and floor joists.

Engineered for strength and ease of use, each piece undergoes a rigorous planing process to ensure a smooth finish and consistent dimensions, making it a favorite for both professional contractors and DIY enthusiasts.

Common Applications

• Internal Partitioning: The perfect backbone for stud walls and room dividers.

• Timber Frame Construction: Reliable structural support for modern builds.

• Bespoke Joinery: Ideal for creating carcasses for built-in wardrobes and shelving units.

• Floor & Ceiling Joists: Provides a flat, level surface for boarding.

Pro Tip: When calculating your materials, remember that "CLS" dimensions are slightly smaller than traditional sawn timber due to the planing process. For example, a "3x2" (75mm x 50mm) nominal size usually finishes at 38mm x 63mm.

Key Features

• Strength Graded: Kiln-dried and strength-graded to C16 or C24 standards for reliable load-bearing performance.

• Precision Finished: Planed on all four sides (S4S) with eased (rounded) corners for comfortable handling and reduced splintering.

• Dimensionally Stable: Kiln-drying minimizes the risk of warping, twisting, or shrinking once installed.

• Sustainably Sourced: Responsibly harvested from FSC or PEFC-certified forests.
