Beatsons Plana V 2mm underlay 15mx1m

The Plana V 2mm Underlay is a high-performance, versatile flooring foundation designed specifically for use under laminate, engineered wood, and solid timber floors. This 15m x 1m roll provides a total coverage of 15m², making it an efficient choice for medium-to-large residential projects.

Core Benefits

• Impact Sound Reduction: Softens the "click-clack" sound of footsteps, creating a quieter environment both in the room and for the floor below.

• Levelling Properties: Capable of smoothing out minor subfloor imperfections (up to approx. 1mm–1.5mm), ensuring a flatter finish for your top-layer flooring.

• Thermal Insulation: Provides a layer of thermal resistance, helping to keep rooms warmer and reducing energy loss through the subfloor.

• Easy Installation: The lightweight roll format is easy to cut with a utility knife and lay down quickly. It typically includes an overlap for seamless joining when taped.

• Durability: The closed-cell structure resists compression over time, maintaining the structural integrity of your floor's click-lock system.

The Plana V is engineered to provide a stable, level base while offering essential protection against moisture and impact noise. Its slim 2mm profile ensures it doesn't add significant height to your floor buildup, which is ideal for maintaining door clearances and matching existing thresholds.
