Eliza Tinsley Field Gate Hook to Drive with Notched Shank (Box of 5)

The Eliza Tinsley Field Gate Hook to Drive with Notched Shank is a heavy-duty, durable fastening device commonly used for securing gates, particularly in agricultural or rural settings. Here’s a detailed description:

• Material: Galvanised Steel ensuring durability and resistance to weather conditions, especially outdoors.
• Design: Features a notched shank, which is a key part of its function. The notched shank allows it to be driven directly into wood or other materials without the need for additional hardware, providing a secure fit.
• Hook Shape: The hook itself is designed to securely hold a gate chain or latch, enabling the gate to be locked in place when closed.
• Application: Commonly used in fields, farms, and ranches for securing gates in places where a more permanent or solid installation is needed.
• Installation: The hook is driven into a wooden post or other surface using a hammer or similar tool, with the notched shank offering extra grip and stability when installed.

This type of gate hook is valued for its robustness and ability to handle high-frequency use in outdoor and agricultural environments.
