Brett Martin Cast Iron effect Style Small Hopper Gargoyle

What it is & what it looks like

• This is a small hopper from the Brett Martin “Cascade” cast-iron style rainwater system range.

• It’s cast-iron “effect” / “style”, meaning it’s not real cast iron but plastic (uPVC / PVC) manufactured to mimic traditional cast-iron guttering in appearance — including architectural detailing, historic motifs, and finish.

• Specifically “Gargoyle” style: the hopper has a decorative gargoyle motif — adding a heritage/period-look ornamentation rather than plain finish.

Why people choose it

• Offers the heritage cast-iron look (traditional detailing, gargoyle motif) without the drawbacks of real cast iron (weight, cost, rust, maintenance).

• Versatile / compatible — works with common downpipe sizes (65 mm square / 68 mm round), so easier to integrate into existing rainwater/guttering systems.

• Durable and weather-resistant — as uPVC, it’s UV-stabilised and corrosion-resistant, needing minimal maintenance.

• Range of heritage colours and finishes — gives flexibility to match the rest of the building’s gutters/downpipes, or to replicate a traditional look in renovations/restorations.
