A grid-like framework made of steel, used primarily to enhance the strength and durability of concrete structures.

It provides tensile strength to concrete, which is inherently strong in compression but weak under tension. Reinforced mesh is commonly used for the reinforcement of concrete structures, foundations and floor slabs. Supplied in standard sheet sizes of 3.6m x 2.0m. Reducing the build-up of lap depth.

-  A393 Reinforcing mesh is most commonly used in heavier duty industrial concreting in walls and floor slabs with a thickness or depth of at least 200mm. 

- A252 reinforcement fabric is manufactured with 8mm rebar, each main wire and cross wire are set at a pitch of 200mm.

- A142 reinforcing mesh is often used in light duty domestic concreting in floor slabs and foundations with a thickness or depth of 100mm. The most common uses for A142 mesh is pathways, driveways and garage bases (depending on the vehicle size and traffic levels).
