SterlingOSB Zero OSB3 Boards are versatile and tough structural building boards. OSB 3 is precision engineered for structural use in load bearing and humid conditions.

SterlingOSB Zero OSB3 is generally used for the likes of load bearing applications, loft flooring and shed roofing beneath felt. OSB Grade 3.

What is osb board and what does osb board stand for?

OSB stands for Oriented Strand Board. OSB is an engineered wood panel that has wood (flakes) compressed together in opposite directions to strengthen the board. 

What is oriented strand board used for?

OSB is used in roofing, flooring and wall sheathing. There are four grades of OSB that relates to the strength rating and moisture resistance: OSB1 for general interior purposes, OSB2 for load bearing in dry conditions, OSB3 for load bearing in humid conditions, and OSB4 for heavy duty load bearing in humid conditions. OSB3 is the most popular choice in Scotland, it's performance is good enough for most.
