Paver Systems Stonemarket Dorian Limestone Paving

Stonemarket Dorian Limestone Paving is a premium, ethically sourced natural stone known for its sleek, contemporary aesthetic. It features a light-grey color palette with subtle variations, making it a versatile choice for both modern and traditional garden designs.

Key Features

• Material: 100% Ethically sourced natural limestone.

• Color: Light grey with occasional natural mineral tonal variations.

• Finish: Naturally split surface, partially rubbed for a smooth yet textured feel.

• Edges: Machine-cut sawn edges for a sharp, clean-lined look.

• Durability: High-quality, hard-wearing stone suitable for patios, pathways, and outdoor dining areas.

Dorian Limestone is characterized by its sawn edges and a naturally split (riven) surface that has been partially rubbed. This unique "riven and rubbed" finish provides a flatter, cleaner surface than traditional riven stone while retaining the authentic texture of natural limestone. It is calibrated to a consistent thickness for easier installation.

Application & Design Tips

• Modern Aesthetics: The sawn edges and grey tones pair perfectly with minimalist furniture, slate chippings, and architectural plants.

• Maintenance: Being limestone, it is recommended to seal the stone shortly after installation to protect against staining and natural weathering, as limestone is more porous than granite or slate.

• Installation: Due to the sawn edges, Dorian can be laid with narrow joints (approx. 5-10mm) to emphasize its clean, geometric appearance.

Note: As with all natural stone, color variations and occasional veining are part of the material's inherent beauty. It is always best to "dry lay" slabs from multiple packs before fixing to ensure an even distribution of tones.
