Brett Martin 65Mm Square Cast iron Style S1.8m Socketed Pipe with Lugs

• Size/Dimensions: Nominal size: 65 mm square downpipe; length 1.8 metres.
• Profile: Square‑profile downpipe (as opposed to round) that mimics a cast‑iron finish.
• Material & Finish: uPVC (PVC‑u) with cast iron effect styling, UV‑stabilised, designed to replicate the appearance of traditional cast‑iron downpipe systems.
• Features: Socketed pipe (i.e., one end has a socket to receive the next length) plus integrated lugs for wall fixings.
• System Compatibility: Part of the Cascade Cast‑Iron Style system — intended to work with corresponding gutters and downpipe components in the 65 mm square size.

• Heritage appearance: The cast‑iron style finish offers an authentic traditional look while using modern material. From the listing: “Square 65mm Cast Iron Style Rainwater System … virtually indistinguishable from original Cast Iron systems.”
• Modern material advantages: Being made from PVC‑u means lighter weight, easier handling, no rust/corrosion, lower maintenance compared with actual cast iron.
• Integrated fixing lugs: The built‑in fixing lugs offer a convenient way to attach the downpipe securely to the wall or structure.
• Socketed end for easy connection: Helps with a seamless installation of successive pipe lengths and proper alignment.
• Wide colour options & heritage suitability: Although classic black is standard, the range offers other heritage colours (like olive green, sand, graphite grey) — useful for restoration or conservation projects.
