• Type: Socketed downpipe length with integrated fixing lugs (for wall‑fixing) designed for use in a cast‑iron‑look rainwater system.

• System: Part of the Cascade Cast Iron Style Rainwater System by Brett Martin, designed for heritage style/residential installations where a traditional cast‑iron aesthetic is required.

• Heritage appearance: The rectangular 100 × 75 profile in cast iron look is ideal for buildings where a traditional cast‑iron downpipe system is required for aesthetics (e.g., listed building renovations, conservation areas).

• Modern material performance: Using uPVC rather than actual cast iron means lighter weight, easier handling, no rust/corrosion, lower maintenance while maintaining the traditional look.

• Socketed connection + fixing lugs: The socketed end allows the next length to be inserted snugly, and the lugs facilitate secure fixing to the structure.

• System compatibility: This downpipe size/format is listed in the product catalogue under Rectangular 100 × 75 mm Cast Iron Style, meaning it is part of a wider system with matching fittings, adaptors and accessories (e.g., gutter adaptors, offsets etc.)

• Specification clarity: In the product catalogue the item is listed as “Downpipe – 1.8m Socketed Pipe with Lugs – BR8018LCI” in the rectangular 100 mm × 75 mm section.
