Fill and Finish Light from Knauf is an easy-working product for fast and smooth joint finishing. It is a lightweight ready-mixed compound for bedding tapes and finishing joints in drywall partitions and ceilings. When drying it has very low shrinkage and only needs two coats for a professional look.

Areas of Application

Gypsum plasterboards, for bedding paper tape and finishing second and third coat of joints. For bedding paper-faced and metal corner beads and finishing joints.

  • Once dry the product is easy to sand to the perfect finish ready for the wall or ceiling finish to be applied. We recommend using 150/180 grit sandpaper to achieve the best results

Application / Installation

Stir to an even consistency before use, may be diluted to suit individual preferences. Ensure substrate is sound, dry, clean and free from oil, and dust. Drying time dependent upon thickness, temperature, ventilation, air humidity and type of substrate. Average drying time approximately 12-24 hours. Use a fine-grit sandpaper for surfacing sanding. Before application of paint or wallpaper, use an appropriate primer such as Knauf Wallboard Primer.
